Who we are
12C Studios is an AI transformation and software company based at Lavelle Road, Bengaluru, India. This policy covers 12cstudios.com and the enquiries we receive through it. If you are filling in a 12C discovery questionnaire for your company, the client privacy notice applies to you as well.
What we collect
When you contact us
- Your name, work email and company name
- Which starting point you picked, and anything you write in the message box
- The date and time you sent it
Automatically, when you visit
- Standard server records kept by our hosting provider, such as the pages requested, the time, the browser type and the network address the request came from. These are used to keep the site running and secure.
We do not use advertising trackers, and the site sets no cookies for analytics or marketing. If that changes, we will ask for your agreement first where the law requires it.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To reply to you and discuss working together. We rely on your consent, given when you send the form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To keep a record of enquiries so we can pick up a conversation later.
- To keep the site secure and prevent misuse.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.
Who else can see it
Your enquiry is visible to the 12C founders and, where relevant, the colleague who will work with you. We also use a small number of service providers:

We will update this list before adding anyone new who handles your information.
Where it is stored, and where it goes
Our website, applications and database run in Singapore. Some providers, such as our email provider, process data in other countries. Where information leaves India or the European Economic Area, we rely on our providers' standard contractual protections.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, unless we begin working together, in which case they are kept for the life of the engagement and for as long as our records require afterwards.
- Server records: a short period set by our hosting provider, normally under 30 days.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date
- delete what we hold, where we have no reason to keep it
- stop using it, or withdraw the consent you gave
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you, as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act allows
Ask us using the contact below and we will respond within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India or, if you are in Europe or the United Kingdom, to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use encrypted connections, restrict access to the people who need it, protect our admin tools with passwords and time-limited sessions, and keep secrets out of the browser. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, and we will tell you and the relevant authority if a breach occurs that affects you.
Children
This site is meant for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be explained here.
